LOST LAKE CAFE & LOUNGE

Lajeunesse knew this space would be a 24-hour diner, but it wasn’t until he was well into construction did he realize that the decor would be far from typical. The initial conceptualization involved simple black and chrome finishes, but after procuring vintage bar stools — in all their orange-and-gold-button glory — it became clear to him that the direction needed to change. And so, the Northwest inspired Lost Lake became realized.

In true PNW fashion, Lajeunesse drew inspiration from cult classic TV show, Twin Peaks. The bathrooms were even tiled with the famous black and white zigzag pattern in an unapologetic shout out. To complete the regionally relevant decor, both the bar and back bar were paneled with a Fir finish. And, as they say, the rest is history.
